The town is located at the western shore of the Salton Sea in the Imperial Valley, within the Colorado Desert ecoregion. It is 36 miles (58 km) west-northwest of Calipari. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km2), all land.
